





Na Cloigne (The Heads) is a supernatural thriller, which tells the story of a young couple, Seán and Nuala, who become caught up in the horrible and gruesome murders of two young women.
Nuala is a gifted painter whose artistic abilities subconsciously attune her to the Otherworld. Her relationship with Seán is buckling under pressure due to his recent infidelity with a local woman, Áine.
One drunken night Seán brings two attractive young women home for a nightcap after the pub. Nuala is awakened by their revelry and, after a raging row, drives off into the night in a state of jealous fury. Seán wakes up the following morning with his clothes soaked in blood and no recollection of what happened the night before.

Haunted by visions of dark men and unaware of who is dead and how he is involved, Seán slowly descends into the lowest levels of despair and madness.
Directed by Robert Quinn and produced by Ciarán Ó Cofaigh for ROSG, a Conamara based film and television production company, Na Cloigne is set in the Conamara village of Cloigeann, where family feuds, envy and even darker forces dominate daily life for the residents.
Only a selected few can see what really lurks beneath the surface in the eerie Cloigeann woods.
Na Cloigne boasts a host of renowned Irish acting talent including Dara Devaney and Siobhán O Kelly starring as troubled couple Seán and Nuala, with Barry McGovern as the psychic Superintendent who comes to their aid.
Among the supporting cast are well known actors Mac dara Ó Fatharta, Joe Steve Ó Neachtain and Áine Ní Dhroighneáin.
