After their passionate kiss, Johnny makes it clear to Bríd that he wants to give their marriage another try but Bríd is feeling guilty for betraying Micheál. Bríd meets Johnny and tells him she's sorry but she still wants a divorce. She's in love with Micheál and wants to make a go of her new life in Ros na Rún. Johnny realises Bríd has made up her mind and gently kisses her goodbye. Meanwhile, Adelaide is hurt when she realises that she and Mack have no future together. Adelaide secretly hoped a reconciliation was on the cards, but it's obvious that Mack has no romantic feelings for her and only wants to do right by the baby. Adelaide decides that her baby deserves to be raised by two parents who love each other and tells Mack that shes going to put the baby up for adoption. How will Mack deal with this shocking news.
