Bean an Tí sa Chistin returns again this January for its second season. This is the cooking program which pits Mná Tí from the different Gaeltacht area’s against each other to become the undisputed Queen of the Kitchen. They’ll each have to cook a dinner and a desert for our ‘scoilairí’ judges. It’ll be up to them to decide which Mná Tí goes home and who will go through to the next round.
Presented by Pádraig Ó Sé the winning Bean an Tí will get the main prize of €1000 voucher for Anthony Ryan’s Kitchen wear, Weekend Cookery Course at the fabulous Ballymaloe Cookery School. Let the cook off begin!!
The second of our quarter finals pits youth against experience. Bernadette Ní Chadhain and Catherine Donohue have both done well so far in the competition but one of them will be leaving the kitchen after the six Gaeilgeoirí give their verdicts.
