Miséil de Grás's  Meal

Beef Stir-fry

Ingredients:

  • ¾ kg beef strips
  • ½ red pepper
  • ½ yellow pepper
  • ½ green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 300g white rice
  • Soy sauce

Method:

  1. Put the beef strips in a dish with a little olive oil.
  2. Cook in the oven at 180C for 30 minutes.
  3. Dice the peppers and the onion.
  4. Boil some water in a pot. Add the rice and boil for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Take the beef from the oven and put into a wok with a little olive oil.
  6. Mix in the vegetables and stir-fry for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve the stir-fry on a bed of rice, with soy sauce on the side.

Dessert

Banoffi Pie

Ingredients:

  • 12oz digestive biscuits
  • 6oz melted butter
  • 2 tins of Nestlé caramel
  • 2 large bananas
  • Cadbury’s Flake
  • Cream

Method:

  1. Break the biscuits into fine crumbs with a rolling pin.
  2. Melt the butter and stir in the biscuit crumbs.
  3. Spread the biscuit mix onto the base of a dish.
  4. Leave to set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Pour the caramel onto the biscuits.
  6. Slice the bananas and layer them on the caramel.
  7. Beat the cream and spread on the bananas.
  8. Break the flake into pieces and decorate the top of the cream.
