Award-winning broadcaster Máirtín Tom Sheáinín is the master of putting unsung heroes at their ease, enabling them to tell their extraordinary stories, in their own style and at their own pace.
A native of Ros a Mhíl in the Galway Gaeltacht, she is a keen local historian who spent much of her working life with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. She spent some time as a model in the 1960s.
