Dúiche returns with presenter Síle Nic Chonaonaigh.  Every episode is a mixture of serious and informative stories as well as something light-hearted.

The topics and localities covered all have a human interest value and provide a different view of familiar stories as  some that are not as familiar.    They include rural isolation, communities training as first responders, inventions, and entrepreneurial spirit. We hope to bring the viewer on a tour of Ireland and what its people have to offer.

This week on Dúiche we’re looking back at some of the stories we’ve covered in the last three seasons. We start in Co. Kerry where we meet farmer Seán Ó Cuinn who carries his turf home the way his father and grandfather did, using his trusty donkey and then to Co. Galway where a brother and sister duo have opened a new adventure centre Eile Mental. Lastly to Co. Cork where red heads take to the stage at the first ever Irish Red Head convention.
