Ag Dul in Éag (Dying Out) is a new six part wildlife series. The Ag Dul in Éag series examines the plight of some of the animals that went extinct in Ireland, both from centuries ago right up to modern times.
The connections these animals had with the Irish people down through the ages is a constant theme throughout the six episodes. We will also examine some species that are just clinging on to life on our island nation and even one that returned to live here of its own accord.
Ag Dul in Éag was produced for TG4 by independent Irish production company Waxwing Wildlife Productions Ltd (www.waxwingfilms.ie). This new series is Waxwing’s follow up to the Comhtíocht gan Cuireadh (Alien Invaders) series first shown on TG4 two years ago.
