Over the past 4 years Feirm Factor has challenged some of Ireland’s most talented farmers, pitting them against one another to find one winner who will ultimately drive away in the top prize of a Land Rover Discovery.
This Year Land Rover has teamed up with FBD Insurance giving the top Prize of a Commercial Discovery 4 with One Year’s Comprehensive Insurance from FBD!
Maura Derrane was keen to get back into gear as the shows glamorous presenter, adding that extra bit of shine without forgetting that she too was once a farmer’s daughter. Her cohort and agricultural expert Seán Ó'Lionaird (one of Ireland’s top dairy farmers) adds a certain level of formality which consistently reminds each contestant that this is a competition and Feirm Factor has only room for winners, well one winner to be exact.
This season Feirm Factor also inducts a whole new group of guest judges and feirm favourites.
Head of Veterinary Medicine in UCD Michael O’Doherty is first on the scene, soon followed by former Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan. Other faces such as Trevor Sargent, Pádraig O Céidigh, Éanna Ni Lamhna and agriculturally minded brothers Pádraig & Peadar O’Scanaill all have a say in helping to find the Feirm Factor prize winner.
