Geantraí 2012 - Clár 5 - Mary Corcoran

This programme comes from the well known traditional music pub in Dublin, O’Shea’s Merchant and is presented by piano player Mary Corcoran.  Among the musicians featured in the programme are Alan Doherty, Gerry O’Connor and John Blake, Gay, Conor and Seán McKeon as well as The Temple House Ceilí Band.

The line-up is as follows:

Item 1 – Temple House Ceilí Band playing jigs ‘The Clare Jig’, ‘Tá an coileach ag fógairt an lae’

Item 2 – Alan Doherty, Gerry O’Connor and John Blake playing reels ‘Drowsy Maggie’, ‘The Galway Rambler’ & ‘Gormans’ 

Item 3 – Alan Doherty, Gerry O’Donnor and John Blake playing jigs ‘The Scotsman over the boarder’, ‘The Munster Buttermilk’ & ‘The tar road to Sligo’

Item 4 – Roisín, Oisín, Fergal and Cormac Chambers and Colm Ó Briain – ‘Strike the gay harp’, ‘The boys of the town’ and ‘Haste to the Wedding’ 

Item 5 – Gay, Conor and Seán McKeon – playing hornpipes into reels ‘The pleasures of hope’, ‘The Master’s Return’ and ‘The lads of Dublin. 

Item 6 – Saileog Ní Cheannabhain singing ‘An Sceilpín Draighneach’
