The channel’s flagship bilingual arts series returns for its 7th season with presenter Tristan Rosenstock and his team chronicling cultural life in Ireland, getting up close and personal with our leading artists in all corners of the country.

The series regularly features established and emerging talent.  Some of Ireland’s best known will be giving in-depth interviews. These include Chieftain’s founder and leader Paddy Moloney, writer Emma Donoghue, composer Bill Whelan, poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa, Hozier, Ireland Chair of  Irish Poetry Paula Meehan, artist Mick O’Dea as well as international artists such as stage and TV actor John Mahoney. From Lego sculptures to circus skills, Imeall will showcase every aspect of Ireland’s creative magic.

Catherine Foley meets well known writer Emma Donoghue. They speak about her new work ‘Frog Music’ which was published this year and her best-selling book ‘Room’ which has won many awards and is currently being made into a movie in Canada. We head to Cork to look back at the famous night club Sir Henry’s which closed down in 2003. DJ Stevie G speaks about the bands and musicians who played there and Raymond Scannell has created a new drama called ‘Deep’ based on the iconic music venue.
