The channel’s flagship bilingual arts series returns for its 7th season with presenter Tristan Rosenstock and his team chronicling cultural life in Ireland, getting up close and personal with our leading artists in all corners of the country.
The series regularly features established and emerging talent. Some of Ireland’s best known will be giving in-depth interviews. These include Chieftain’s founder and leader Paddy Moloney, writer Emma Donoghue, composer Bill Whelan, poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa, Hozier, Ireland Chair of Irish Poetry Paula Meehan, artist Mick O’Dea as well as international artists such as stage and TV actor John Mahoney. From Lego sculptures to circus skills, Imeall will showcase every aspect of Ireland’s creative magic.
As we reach the end of the current season of Imeall it's time now to revisit some of the highlights with IMEALL ROGHA. Since September we've been travelling all over the country meeting with leading artists in all disciplines and tonight we revisit some of those moments. On tonight's episode we have David Gray, we take a look at the murals in Belfast, Brenda Ní Shúilleabháin's book Aneas and artist Bláthnaid Ní Mhurchú.
