The Wolves: New Series: Laura and her new friend, Andy Garvey, find an injured mother wolf trying to tend to her pack of baby pups. Andy takes the wolf and her babies home to care for them, but decides to move them to the Ingalls family barn when he learns Larabee wants to shoot them, believing that they are the ones responsible for killing several of his sheep. Things turn deadly when a pack of feral dogs advance on the barn, trapping Andy, Laura, Mary, Carrie, and Bandit inside, leaving them to rely on Jonathan, and even more so, Bandit and the mother wolf, to save them from being mauled.

Una talks to Irish bands HAL and Nanu Nanu, and to the Swedish pop musician Jens Lekman. Nanu Nanu are one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Ireland in recent months. Comprised of Laura Sheeran (cousin of Ed Sheeran) and Marc Aubele (of Bell X1) these guys are one of the busiest bands on the scene at the moment. HAL's first album with the Rough Trade label came out in 2005 they had some great radio hits. With such a big gap since their last Album Una catches up with the guys to see where the road has taken them since.

Johnny Connolly: Johnny Connolly was born in Inis Bearachain, Leitir Móir. His earliest memories are of music in the island, especially singing. His island background has inspired his own music and choice of instrument, the single row melodeon. Like many other musicians Johnny moved on to the accordion when this little instrument fell into a decline in the fifties. A chance invitation to play old style music for the Lorient Festival in Brittany in 1990 led to him taking up the old instrument again. The melodeon has enriched traditional music and sean nós dancing in Conamara, where he is the player of choice for dancers.
