Four punks from Cork reflect on their experience of early punk.
Wednesday @ 10.00pm
In the Ireland of the late 1970s and the years that followed, with a conflict raging in Belfast, and a depressed economy in Cork, four young punks stepped outside of the mainstream. They dressed and acted differently; they looked at what society had to offer them and largely turned their back on it. As adults, and as parents and grandparents, they reflect on their experience of early punk as we bring the story right up to date – exploring the lives of two modern day punks. At the heart of these stories is the music that inspired them and helped them define who they were.
