Seal le Dáithí

Dáithí Ó Sé hosts a weekly chat show “Seal le Dáithí” on TG4. Each week Dáithí will chat one-to-one with a different guest where they will discuss and share their life story and experiences.
This 20 part series will include some of the following guests; a Eurovision Song Contest presenter, a former Miss Universe Ireland, singer-songwriters, poets, sports personalities, an explorer, an illustrator, the first female boat-owner skipper in Ireland and a volunteer who founded a school for refugee children in Greece.

Caitlín Uí Aodha is Dáithí Ó Sé’s guest this week. From the Ring Gaeltacht in Co. Waterford, Caitlín was the first female boat owner skipper in Ireland. Caitlín has been involved in fishing all her life and is politically active in the fisheries industry. She speaks openly and honestly about fishing life and about the Tit Bonhomme tragedy in 2012 in which her husband, Michael, lost his life.
