From cups named after historic Irish patriots to more recent legends of the GAA, each episode offers a unique insight into the people and communities who have shaped the games we love.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn Series 3, Gr\u00e1inne hits the road once again, meeting the families, friends, and club members who keep these stories alive. She explores the legacy of the names behind the silverware \u2013 and the deep pride felt by those who play for them.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 1: County Armagh<\/strong><br \/>\nGr\u00e1inne begins her journey in the Orchard County with a visit to current GAA President, Jarlath Burns. She explores the story of the William McKillop Cup \u2013 a now-retired Armagh football trophy named after a key figure in the foundation of Celtic FC. At Clann \u00c9ireann, she learns about the annual 7s tournament named in honour of local legends Marie Hoye and Catr\u00edona McKeag. Further south in Crossmaglen, she uncovers the story behind a trophy named by Cardinal \u00d3 Fiaich in memory of his brother.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 2: County Meath<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the Royal County, Gr\u00e1inne visits the ancient grounds of the Tailteann Games. At Crossakiel Handball Club, she learns about the Hughie Reilly Cup, named after a passionate handballer. In Ratoath, she discovers the moving story of Garda Se\u00e1n Eiffe \u2013 a dedicated club member tragically killed in the line of duty. The episode concludes at the Hill of Tara, with the annual Poc Fada competition in Kilmessan and its over-40s trophy named after Joey Horan and P\u00e1draic Curtis.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 3: County Carlow<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the Dolmen County, Gr\u00e1inne explores Carlow County Museum\u2019s display of retired silverware with Aingeal U\u00ed Dh\u00e1laigh, including the historic Carlow Senior Football Championship Cups. At Gaelscoil Eoghain U\u00ed Thuairisc, she meets Br\u00edde de R\u00f3iste and learns about the Cumann na mBunscol competition named in her honour. In Myshall, she uncovers the story of the Tom Nolan Camogie Cup and a few lost trophies that found their way home.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 4: County Limerick<\/strong><br \/>\nGr\u00e1inne heads to Limerick to hear the story of Irish patriot John Daly, namesake of the Limerick Senior Hurling Cup. At Mary Immaculate College, she meets those who remember Noreen Lynch \u2013 a much-loved lecturer and the inspiration for a ladies\u2019 football trophy. No trip to Limerick would be complete without a stop at Mick Mackey\u2019s homeplace, celebrating the legendary hurler whose name graces the Munster Senior Hurling Cup.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 5: County Mayo<\/strong><br \/>\nThe green and red of Mayo are in focus as Gr\u00e1inne learns about the Paddy Moclair Cup \u2013 named after a 1936 All-Ireland hero. She travels to Breaffy, home of the current All-Ireland rounders champions, to discover the story behind a trophy named for former Taoiseach Charles Haughey. In Claremorris, she uncovers the history of the O\u2019Mara Cup and its connection to the local bacon factory.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Episode 6: County Derry<\/strong><br \/>\nThe final episode takes Gr\u00e1inne to the north once more. In Derry, she visits the club and trophy named in honour of Brian \u00d3g McKeever, a young player whose legacy lives on.
