The GAA World Games are a major international celebration of Gaelic games, bringing together players, clubs and communities from across the globe for a week of Gaelic and ladies football action.
\nAs broadcasting partner, TG4 will showcase the 2026 GAA World Games to audiences in Ireland and around the world, reflecting the growing international reach of Gaelic games and the strength of the global GAA community.
\n <\/p>\n

TG4\u2019s coverage will include live broadcast of all eight finals from Finals Day on Friday 17th July on the Sp\u00f3rt TG4 YouTube page. TG4 will also produce an hour-long highlights programme on Monday 10th August at 8pm & repeated Saturday 15th August 10.10am, featuring the best of the action from the finals, interviews with players, esteemed guests and organisers, and additional colour content from the Games and surrounding events.
\n <\/p>\n

Waterford has been confirmed as host city for the 2026 GAA World Games, with group matches taking place at SETU Waterford campus and the finals being staged at Azzurri Walsh Park. The Games will welcome teams from World GAA regions including Europe, Britain, USGAA, Australasia, Canada, Asia, New York, the Middle East, South America and Africa.
\n <\/p>\n

The 2026 edition will be the biggest staging of the GAA World Games to date, with 114 teams taking part and more non-Irish born players participating than ever before. The week will also include an opening ceremony in Waterford City, cultural exhibitions, networking events and community activity celebrating the worldwide GAA family.
\n <\/p>\n

TG4 head of Sport, R\u00f3n\u00e1n \u00d3 Coisdealbha<\/strong> said:

Uachtar\u00e1n CLG Jarlath Burns<\/strong> said:

From its earliest days TG4 made the exceptional coverage of our games their calling card and they helped drive standards, promote our games and our native language. The World Games is a celebration of the phenomenal growth that is World GAA with its more than 500 clubs – each one of them a community hub for our Diaspora and drawing new converts to our national sports. The GAA World Games take place every three years and continue to highlight the growth of Gaelic games outside of Ireland. The 2026 event in Waterford will build on the success of previous Games, including the 2023 edition in Derry.

\nGAA World Games 2026<\/strong> will be produced by NemetonTV<\/strong>, the independent production company based in An Rinn, the Waterford Gaeltacht, responsible for much of TG4\u2019s acclaimed sports output.
