26.06.25

Drift Masters Beo

TG4 is thrilled to announce the return of Drift Masters Beo, with live coverage of Round 4 of the Red Bull Drift Masters European Championship from Mondello Park, Co. Kildare on Sunday 29th June from 15:20.

This marks the second time TG4 will broadcast Drift Masters Beo, following the huge success of last year’s event which attracted 114,000 live viewers on Sunday 16th June 2024. Viewership peaked during the thrilling final head-to-head, an all-island showdown, as James Dean from Cork edged out Duane McKeever from Tyrone. McKeever had the last word in 2024, finishing second overall in the championship standings, one place ahead of Dean who came in third after six tour stops across six countries.

The 2025 season has expanded to include seven tour stops, and Mondello Park is the midpoint, hosting the fourth round. After the third stop in Finland, Irish drivers are leading the charge:

  • Conor Shanahan (22) from Cork currently sits at the top of the leaderboard
  • His brother Jack Shanahan is in seventh place
  • James Dean remains firmly in the mix in third place

Ireland is also leading the Nations Cup standings with 287 points, underlining the country’s, and particularly Cork’s, growing dominance on the European drift scene in 2025.

It’s the start of a big week of Irish motorsport, with Conor Shanahan and 16 of Ireland’s best drifters set to takeover Spike Island in Cork for Red Bull Drift Pursuit on Saturday July 5th.
