TG4 Announces Plans for Budget 2026 Coverage

TG4 will deliver comprehensive coverage and analysis of Budget 2026 on Budget Day, October 7th 2025, across news and current affairs programming.
 
TG4’s live television coverage begins at 14:30 with a special one-hour programme, Buiséad 2026, presented by Eimear Ní Chonaola. This programme will bring viewers the latest developments direct from Dáil Éireann as they are announced, with immediate reaction from politicians, expert contributors, and in-depth studio analysis.
 
At 19:00, Nuacht TG4, presented by Siún Nic Gearailt, will deliver expert insight and analysis of the Budget 2026 measures, with a particular focus on their broader impact on society, the Gaeltacht, and the Irish language.
 
This will be followed at 20:00 by 7Lá, presented by Beirní Ní Chuinn, which will feature extended discussion, debate, and contributions from political figures, commentators, and analysts, examining the broader implications of the Budget for communities throughout Ireland.
 
Nuacht Cúla4 will also feature tailored coverage for younger audiences on budget week, helping them understand the key issues and decisions that will shape their future.
