Nuacht TG4 will provide extensive reporting throughout the presidential election, with daily coverage of the candidates’ campaigns across the country. 
 

TG4 Political Correspondent Donncha Ó Murchú will deliver expert daily analysis. TG4 reporters Sinéad Ní Neachtain, Sorcha Ní Mhonacháin and Tomás Ó Mainnín will accompany the presidential candidates throughout the campaign, delivering regular reports from the trail.
 

Áras25:

On Saturday, 25 October, as the count unfolds, Siún Nic Gearailt will present two special Áras25 programmes on TG4, at 2pm and 7pm, featuring the latest results, reports from count centres, and in-depth analysis from studio and on the ground contributors.
 

Nuacht TG4:

At 19:00 each evening Nuacht TG4, presented by Siún Nic Gearailt and Eimear Ní Chonaola will provide the latest campaign developments with context and analysis.
 

7Lá:

Every Tuesday at 20:00, 7Lá, presented by Máirín Ní Ghadhra and Beirní Ní Chuinn, will feature debate and discussion with political figures, commentators, and analysts on the key issues shaping the election.
 

Nuacht Cúla4:

Nuacht Cúla4 will deliver specially tailored coverage for younger audiences, helping them to understand the role of the President and the significance of the vote.
 

The 2025 Presidential Election:

On Friday, 24 October 2025, voters will elect the tenth President of Ireland. Since the establishment of the office in 1938, nine presidents have served, from Douglas Hyde to Michael D. Higgins, whose 14 year presidency concludes in November. The newly elected president will be sworn in and take up residence at Áras an Uachtaráin.
