TG4 Delivers Blockbuster ‘Super Saturday’ and ‘Super Sunday’ for Allianz Leagues Final Round

20.03.26

TG4 will bring fans an unparalleled feast of live GAA this weekend with 11 Allianz League games broadcast across TG4 Television, the TG4 Player and Spórt TG4 YouTube.

For the first time, the hugely popular GAA Beo ‘Super Sunday’ format will be complemented by an action-packed ‘Super Saturday’ of Allianz Hurling, creating a landmark weekend of coverage across both codes.

Now in its third year, Super Sunday has become appointment viewing for GAA supporters, offering simultaneous live coverage across Divisions 1 and 2 of the Allianz Football League. This year’s expanded offering ensures fans won’t miss a moment, with matches shown live across multiple platforms.

Across both days, TG4’s innovative broadcast format will feature split-screen coverage, live score flashes and real-time league table updates, keeping viewers fully informed on the race for promotion and the battle to avoid relegation. The dynamic format has proven a major hit with audiences and has drawn comparisons to the NFL’s famous “RedZone” coverage.
