Gradam Comaoine TG4 for 2026: Public Nomination

Gradam Ceoil TG4 invites suggestions for recipients of An Gradam Comaoine / The Outstanding Contribution Award for Gradam Ceoil 2026.
For the fourth year, this selection will be made by a combination of public nomination and panel selection.
 
An Gradam Comaoine was first presented in 2006 to pay tribute to the dedication of those people who have worked tirelessly to ensure the preservation and dissemination of our traditional music, making certain that the next generation will always have access to the music of yesterday and today.

Gradam Ceoil TG4 invites nominations for a person or people who should receive global recognition for their outstanding contribution to our traditional performance arts. This contribution might be for their work as teachers or researchers or writers or event organisers, mentors or producers or community activists/supporters of the traditional arts.
 
The nomination can be an individual, an organisation, community project or a specific project.
 
Nominations made in previous years can be put forward again this year. Gradam Ceoil welcome any additional information on the individual or organisation that may have specific relevance for 2026.
 
Nominees can reside in or outside of Ireland and work within any area of the traditional arts.

A shortlist of six nominees will be chosen by the Gradam Ceoil selection committee.
 
The final selection will be made by the selection panel of Gradam Ceoil TG4 to be announced by July 2026.
