Sixteen Live Races on TG4 as Rásaí Beo Returns to the Galway Races

TG4 is thrilled to confirm two days of live racing coverage from the Galway Races Summer Festival 2026, with Rásaí Beo broadcasting over four hours of live action again each day on Friday 31st of July and Saturday 1st August.
 

A highlight of the Irish sporting calendar, Rásaí Beo returns to Ballybrit for another unmissable weekend of horse racing drama. All 16 races across the two days will be shown live, including Friday’s feature race, The Guinness Handicap (6:35pm), won in 2025 by the Jarlath Fahey-trained Nans View with Lee Roach aboard, and Saturday’s standout, the BoyleSports Galway Tribes Handicap Hurdle (2:37pm), taken last year by Come On The Lads, piloted by Eoin Staples and trained by Gavin Cromwell.
 
The Rásaí Beo team will be on-site with a full suite of expert analysis and commentary. Presenter Seán Bán Breathnach leads the coverage alongside analysts Mánus Ó Conghaile and Sarah Lynam, with Daragh Ó Conchúir, Meghann Scully reporting from trackside and around the racetrack with Mike Ó Sé providing commentary.
 
Rásaí Beo is produced by Nemeton TV, based in the Waterford Gaeltacht of An Rinn. The production team is also behind TG4’s much-loved Laochra Gael, Peil na mBan Beo, and GAA Beo.
