TG4 has unveiled a bold rebrand for Spórt TG4 as part of the broadcaster’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Sport has been at the heart of TG4 for three decades, delivering some of the channel’s most popular and best-loved programming and building a strong connection with audiences across Ireland.
The new Spórt TG4 brand has been developed inhouse by TG4’s Creative Department in collab with TheTenthMan. The new look was revealed on GAA BEO on Sunday 4th October, on the live broadcast produced by Waterford based independent production company Nemeton.
The new design reflects how Sport TG4 has evolved over the past 30 years, from its origins of being TV only to the multimedia environment sport occupies in the viewers lives now.
The rebrand will give Spórt TG4 a bold, modern new look and a fresh way of bringing the stories, opinions, facts and passion of Irish sport to audiences.
Rónán Ó Coistealbha, Head of Spórt TG4 said:
“Sport has been a central part of TG4’s offering for the past 30 years and continues to play an important role in how we connect with audiences across Ireland. As viewing habits and the wider media landscape continue to evolve, this is a good time to refresh the Spórt TG4 brand. The new identity reflects the strength and heritage of our sports coverage while positioning Spórt TG4 for the future, with a clear and distinctive presence across television, digital and social platforms.”
The rebrand is part of a wider programme of activity marking TG4’s 30th birthday on 31 October 2026, celebrating the broadcaster’s present and future.
