TG4 Expands Accessibility Features with Irish and English On-Screen Subtitles for Ros na Rún

On-Screen Irish and On-Screen English Subtitles
TG4 is delighted to announce a further expansion of its accessibility features for Ros na Rún, with new subtitle options in Irish and English across broadcasts and the TG4 Player.
 

Ros na Rún, TG4’s flagship drama series now has on-screen Irish subtitles. These are available on the Tuesday and Thursday repeat broadcasts at 23:30, as well as on the Sunday omnibus at 20:30.

On-screen English subtitles will also be introduced on the Tuesday and Thursday 20:30 broadcasts.

Ros na Rún – TG4 Player
An additional bonus for Ros na Rún fans is that episodes are available on TG4 Player one day ahead of broadcast. Subtitle options are available to select in Irish and English.

Each new episode of the milestone 30th season is now available to stream on the TG4 Player (TG4.ie) every Monday and Wednesday giving audiences the chance to watch one day ahead of the TG4 broadcast. This digital-first approach marks an exciting step forward in expanding and deepening Ros na Rún’s already strong worldwide audience.

This move is part of TG4’s ongoing strategy to provide platform neutral content and to ensure that audiences can access their favourite programmes on demand, anytime and anywhere. Ros na Rún has a loyal and regular audience on the TG4 Player, as viewing habits continue to evolve, TG4 is committed to meeting the needs of audiences who choose to watch content at a time that suits their schedules; online, on mobile, or on smart televisions.
