TG4 Announced as Official Partner of the GameDev Zone at GamerFest

GamerFest is delighted to announce TG4 as the new Official Partner of its GameDev Zone at the RDS this May 23rd & 24th, strengthening support for Ireland’s rapidly growing games sector and the next generation of Irish game development talent.
 
The GameDev Zone has become one of the standout features of GamerFest, giving independent Irish studios and emerging developers the opportunity to showcase their latest games directly to thousands of passionate gamers. The initiative provides developers with invaluable hands-on feedback from players, helping shape and refine projects while growing awareness for Irish-made games.
 
As partner of the GameDev Zone, TG4 will support and champion original ip, creativity, and ambition of Ireland’s gaming creative talent at a particularly exciting moment for the sector.
 
Ireland’s game development scene continues to grow in both scale and international recognition, with Irish studios producing acclaimed work across PC, console, mobile, VR and educational gaming. The industry’s positive trajectory has created a vibrant ecosystem of developers, designers, artists and storytellers, positioning Ireland as an increasingly important hub for game development.
 
As part of its ongoing collaboration with IMIRT – The Irish Game Makers Association, GamerFest welcomes over 20 developers and studios to the TG4 GameDev Zone including Space Lion Studios, Outsider Games, Psychic Software, Golden Grove Games and Simplex Interactive.
